We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Customer & Product Specialist to join our US team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between our customers and our product development team, ensuring that our software solutions meet the needs of solar industry professionals. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer support, gathering user feedback, and driving product improvements.

Key responsabilities

  • Customer Support:
    • Provide top-notch support to customers via phone, email, and chat, resolving their issues promptly and effectively.
    • Assist customers with onboarding, training, and product usage to ensure they derive maximum value from our software.
    • Troubleshoot technical problems and work with the development team to resolve software bugs and issues.
  • Product Expertise:
    • Develop a deep understanding of Virto Solar’s software products and their applications in the solar industry.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, competitor products, and market demands.
  • User Feedback & Advocacy:
    • Gather and analyse user feedback to identify common issues, feature requests, and areas for improvement.
    • Act as the voice of the customer in product development discussions, advocating for features and changes that enhance user experience.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and other support documentation to help customers use our products effectively.
    • Conduct webinars, workshops, and training sessions for new and existing customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide pre-sales support and product demonstrations.
    • Work closely with the product development team to communicate customer feedback and assist in the prioritization of new features and bug fixes.
    • Partner with the marketing team to develop educational content and resources that highlight product benefits and features.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Renewable Energy, Engineering, Business, or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in a customer support or product specialist role, preferably within the software or renewable energy industry.
  • You have experience (2 years) with CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidsWorks, Inventor, Sketchup, …) or graphic design software (Adobe products)
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand complex software products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Experience with CRM software, customer support tools, and project management software.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
