At Virto Solar we’re passionate about developing software that helps solar professionals design large-scale PV systems faster, more accurately and more efficiently.
Our PV design software reduces engineering time from months or weeks to just a couple of days by automating repetitive and time-consuming tasks and calculations. In addition, we streamline the entire process from conceptual design to engineering, allowing more room for smarter decisions, creativity and optimized projects.
From Commercial & Industrial to utility-scale projects, we’re committed to providing the tools solar professionals need to deliver highly-qualitive solar systems with optimal output. That’s why we’re constantly innovating to stay ahead of the curve in a fast-evolving industry and support a green world.
We do not only want to create innovative design software, but also redefine solar engineering to accelerate the transition to renewable and clean energy. On the one hand we reduce engineering time, on the other hand we eliminate errors that might otherwise result in project delays.

Our Story
Kim Eyckmans started his engineering career at one of the top solar EPC companies in the BENELUX. He soon realized that he could improve engineering speed drastically by implementing the right tools and procedures. At this point Kim decides to set up his own company “Virtuosolar” and focuses on developing innovative Solar PV design software.
Virtuosolar kicked off successfully and attracted many renowned companies and business opportunities in the solar market. Later, Kim decided to rebrand “Virtuosolar” to “VIRTO SOLAR” to further expand and grow.
Today, “Virto Solar” is a top leader in providing software tools for PV design worldwide, which serve as turnkey solutions, and we challenge ourselves to remain a pioneer in a dynamic solar industry.
