Virto.MAX Release Notes: March 2026

In our latest Virto.MAX update, we’re making it easier than ever to back up your PV design proposals with solid financial overviews. This month’s release introduces integrated financial modeling alongside key visualization and reporting enhancements to help you close deals faster.

Check out the highlights below!

Financial Modeling

We’ve added a new layer of intelligence to your projects. This update provides essential metrics to support investment decisions, including ROI, payback period, and LCOE, and offers a clear view of projected cashflow over the project’s lifetime.

This feature provides the essential metrics you need to back up investment decisions, including:

  • Key Metrics: Instantly see ROI, IRR, payback period, and LCOE.
  • Cashflow Insights: Gain a clear view on how cashflow evolves over the entire project lifetime.

Place Inverter Zones Inside Buildings And On Walls

Expanding on our rooftop placement capabilities, you can now also position inverter zones on walls and inside building interiors. Additionally, new support for linking panel groups to specific zones allows for a more tailored and precise inverter configuration for every project.

Revised Export Experience

We’ve moved our export tools (PDF, DWG, PVSyst, and more) to the top-right navigation bar within the Results step. No more switching tabs to find what you need – the ‘Export project’ button is now always within reach, making your final project steps quicker and more intuitive.

Support For New PVGIS Model: SARAH3

We’ve boosted our yield calculation accuracy by integrating the SARAH3 radiation database.

  • Up-to-date Data: Access more recent year coverage for your simulations.
  • Better Precision: Improved handling of environmental conditions, including snow, for more accurate professional applications.

Improved inverter Confguration Calculation & Updated Inverter Database

We have refined our calculation logic an expanded our inverter database to ensure maximum accuracy. Please note that some legacy projects may need a quick refresh; if your project is affected, a prompt will guide you to update the configuration to meet our new, optimized standards.

Increased Image underlay Quality

We’ve upgraded our image processing to give you a better canvas for your layouts when uploading PNG/JPD/PDF underlays. By supporting files up to 8MB and boosting our internal rendering scale, we’ve ensured that your underlays stay crisp and legible, helping you design with higher precision and less eye strain.

We’re constantly evolving Virto.MAX based on your feedback. Have a suggestion for our next update? Reach out to our support team and let us know!
